Funky Music - 2019

As an exercise in class, we were given a noun and an adjective, and were told to create a mini composition based on them. My words were funky music. As a huge fan of funk music, I was extremely excited to get started. I used imagery of retro, funky styles with color palettes, makeup/styles of the time, typefaces, and flowers/vinyl records. I also incorporated the song "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry.
